Welcome back to our channel, fam! In today’s vlog, we’re taking you on a very special journey — Baby Ayaan’s first-ever flight! As new parents, this was a big milestone for us, filled with excitement, nervousness, and some unexpected challenges along the way. Come along as we pack up and prepare for our first family trip with our newborn and head to sunny San Diego!

From the moment we woke up, it was go time. With a baby in tow, traveling takes on a whole new meaning. In this video, we’re sharing all the baby travel essentials that helped us get through the day (well… mostly!). Whether you’re a new mom, a first-time dad, or just curious about how we manage traveling with a little one, this vlog is packed with real moments and helpful tips.

Some of the must-have items we brought with us included:
    •    A change of clothes (for Ayaan and us — trust us, it’s needed!)
    •    A diaper changing pad for quick and clean changes on the go
    •    Gripe water and other baby-safe medication just in case little tummies got upset
    •    A nursing cover to make feeding more comfortable and private for mama
    •    Of course, plenty of diapers and wipes
    •    Pre-made milk bottles to keep our baby boy fed and happy
    •    Baby ear muffs to protect his tiny ears from the noise during takeoff and landing
    •    Several burp cloths — because spills and spit-ups wait for no one!

Shaeeda was so thrilled to be traveling again — she had been itching to get out and experience the world with our little bundle of joy. But once we boarded the plane… everything changed.

Ayaan had a full-on meltdown mid-flight. Yup. Our sweet baby boy was not a fan of being in the air. Shaeeda felt so frustrated and overwhelmed, especially with the judgmental glances from other passengers. It was one of those moments where nothing seemed to calm him down. But through it all, she held him close, comforted him, and reminded herself that this too shall pass.

Despite the turbulence (emotionally and literally), we made it. We landed safely in beautiful San Diego, greeted by clear blue skies, palm trees, and a peaceful breeze. It felt like a fresh start after a chaotic few hours. The scenery at the airport gave us hope that the rest of our trip would be smooth sailing.
