Thru Story is a feature length outdoor adventure documentary that follows hikers as they attempt to walk the entire Appalachian Trail, available to watch on DVD or via Download or Rental.
"Any Complaints?" is a Thru Story short film made up of clips of hikers who were prompted to complain about the trail (most of which ended up not being used in the documentary), plus me complaining, which happens without prompting.
This probably isn't the most enjoyable short for the "your worst day on trail is better than your best day at work" crowd, but I think it's important, particularly for folks new to long distance hiking, to realize that you don't HAVE to be happy all the time.
You'll occasionally be miserable, and that's fine. And then a year (or two or three) later you'll forget all of the crappy parts and tell yourself it was all amazing, and that's when you'll plan another hike.
