The case unfolds through history, from Aristotle’s early observations and Galileo’s free-fall reasoning to Newton’s force-based gravity and Einstein’s radical reimagining of spacetime.

As the trial progresses, gravity is both defended and prosecuted: cleared of false accusations, yet implicated in deeper cosmic mysteries it still cannot fully explain. From zero-G motion and spacetime curvature to black holes and the unresolved conflict between gravity and quantum mechanics, the court confronts a central question—whether gravity is a force, an effect, or something still beyond our grasp. The verdict remains postponed, until physics itself can bridge the gap between the macroscopic universe and the quantum world.
