💛 Gujarati-Style Moong Sabzi | Light, Comforting & Desi
✨ Ingredients:
• Whole moong (soaked 3–4 hours)
• Oil
• Mustard seeds (rai)
• Cumin seeds (jeera)
• A pinch of hing
• Garlic chutney
• Salt to taste
• ½ tsp haldi
• Coriander–cumin powder (dhaniya jeera)
• Curry leaves
• Water
• Buttermilk (chaas)
• Fresh coriander (for garnish)
✨ Method:
1. Soak moong for 3–4 hours and boil it for 2 whistles. Keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadhai. Add rai, jeera, and hing.
3. Add garlic chutney and sauté lightly.
4. Add haldi, salt, dhaniya jeera, and curry leaves. Cook for a few seconds.
5. Add water and let it come to a boil.
6. Add the boiled moong and let it boil again.
7. Pour in buttermilk (chaas) and mix well.
8. Cook for a few minutes till flavors blend nicely.
✨ Garnish:
• Fresh coriander
