Mother of victim in 2022 Albany murder speaks out after killer's sentencing

Описание: The mother of a man killed in Albany in 2022 is speaking out, sitting down exclusively with CBS6 after her son’s killer was sentenced at the end of May.

Hacief Oliver, 26, was among two gunned down on 2nd Street in Albany that November. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, a 21-year-old man, was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

“I never thought I would experience anything like this,” Oliver’s mother, Necoll Davis, told CBS6. “It’s always supposed to be the parents supposed to go first, not the child. It’s been hard, very hard. I’m never going to stop grieving.”
