Cycles of Thought explores the unstoppable torrent of thought fragments that have always plagued my hyperactive mind. Numbers, guitar scales, memories, ideas, songs, always spinning. I used old recordings, processed and sped up, whole songs inside of the song, along with overlapping sentence fragments which were partially performed live as I walked around Grand Central Station with a field recorder, the station itself with its hurtling trains and bustling passengers representing the nexus of the mind.
