New research by @YouthEndowmentFund has discovered that one in four teens now turn to AI for mental health support, whilst young people affected by violence are even more likely to use this function.
The report, which surveyed nearly 11,000 children aged 13 to 17 in England and Wales, also looked into the relationship between violence and mental health, and discovered that victims and perpetrators were far more likely to struggle with their mental wellbeing.
To fully understand how teenagers get support for their mental health, ITV News visited Oasis Academy Lord's Hill in Southampton to talk to teenagers about their experiences with online mental health assistance.
