Atomic-scale films, flawless growth, powerful possibilities.
At Arizona State University’s Solar Fab Core, researchers use the Veeco Fiji Plasma-Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) system to do just that. This advanced tool creates ultra-thin films — so precise they are measured at the atomic scale.
The Fiji supports both thermal and plasma-enhanced ALD processes, giving scientists the flexibility to design custom materials for semiconductors, solar energy devices and more. With multiple precursor lines and plasma gases, it produces flawless, pinhole-free films that are safe to handle thanks to built-in toxic gas monitoring.
From developing next-generation electronics to advancing clean energy, the Fiji helps researchers turn bold ideas into real-world innovations.
