This game-themed event with talks and hands-on activities will highlight virtual reality and digital twin technology. Arcade games from Pong to Dance Dance Revolution will round out the experience. Speakers will include Qualcomm Institute Director Ramesh Rao; Dinesh Bharadia, QI affiliate and electrical and computer engineering associate professor in the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering and director of the Center for Wireless Communications; Falko Kuester, QI affiliate and structural engineering professor in the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering; Neil Smith, QI associate research scientist and co-director of the Center for Cyberarchaeology and Sustainability; Yves Theriault, Program Manager for Education and Outreach Programs at QI; and Ivonne Gonzalez-Gamboa, Assistant Teaching Professor in the Molecular Biology Department at UC San Diego.
