Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has died after the chartered aircraft he was travelling in crashed near Baramati Airport on Wednesday morning. According to ground reports and aviation sources, the aircraft attempted to land on the runway but the first approach failed. The pilot then executed a go-around and attempted a second approach.
During the second attempt, the aircraft reportedly lost control near the runway, crashed into nearby fields, and burst into flames after a loud explosion. The impact was so severe that it left no opportunity for rescue operations.
