2004 Silverado CD won't eject

I just bought this Silverado and I didn't notice when I bought it that it had a CD stuck in the player. Anyone know how to get it out. I disconnected the battery, pulled the fuse and tried putting another CD with zero luck. I looked where you insert the CD and I see two vertical pieces of plastic (I think) and I don't want to break them. Any suggestions?
