I.M (full name Im Changkyun / 임창균) is the lead rapper and maknae of MONSTA X. I.M's first moments with other members were harsh to say the very least, since he joined the competition NO MERCY late, after few trainees were already dropped. Other members had hard time welcoming I.M, but slowly, on Jooheon's lead, others started accepting I.M as their potential group member.
Now, as MONSTA X's sweet and buttery, oldest sounding rapper, I.M doesn't only enjoy (or suffer) being maknae (alongside with Wonho), but continuously writes MONSTA X's songs' rap lines with Jooheon.
