Detailed Project Description:

Newbury Park High School and its well known drama department, the beneficent of this project, were in desperate need of a new, renovated storage area which is in close condition to a junk yard at its previous state. That is why I proposed this Eagle project to fix these issues though two steps addressing the two biggest problems; space, and shelter for "set pieces" from the elements. I planed to, in full, clean out the total storage area as well as the two storage units they have (which are full as well) with the help of the NPHS Technical Theatre crew and sort though every piece discarding ruined pieces and saving ones that can still be used. After clearing the area of every object I then, with the help of scout volunteers and friends, constructed a large, storage-like structure big enough to store valuable set pieces that can reach up to 10+ feet tall and 10+ feet long as well as shelter the wood sets, couches, tables, rugs, etc from the elements of rain, sun, and wind. In the end they will have a clean, safe place to store their set pieces and props.
