Most survival kits sit in backpacks, vehicles, or bug out bags. The problem is simple. When emergencies actually happen you often don’t have those kits with you. That is why I like building small minimalist survival systems that stay on your body every day.

This Wazoo cache belt allows you to carry a hidden survival kit that looks like a normal belt but actually stores critical survival gear inside. It is lightweight, comfortable, and easy to wear as part of your everyday carry setup.

Inside this belt I keep a compact survival setup that focuses on the priorities of survival including fire, navigation, and emergency preparedness. I also upgraded the belt by adding a ferro rod fire starter and a small compass. Those two items alone can make a major difference if you ever find yourself lost in the woods or dealing with an unexpected survival situation.
