A three oscillator drone sweeps through the frequencies as the machine hums. A two note arpeggio provides the bass drone of the machine pulse. A simple four step sequence cycles round with the cold, repetitive precision of the machine mind, l'homme méchanique. Stabs of dissonant piano chords occasionally pierce the mechanical drone, expressing apprehension and maybe a little fear of a pulse without a heart. A 21st century tin man.
