RUF modified Porsche 996 Turbo walkaround, modification story, and build inspiration

Описание: Walkaround video giving some information about my RUF modified Porsche 996 turbo nicknamed "Mezger Ruf" and the backstory behind the inspiration for the car. The car started life as a stock 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo. I purchased the car at Autohaus Porsche Lancaster, PA from Porsche Brand Ambassador and sales manager and former Sebring 12 Hours winner Chad Block. I received parts and modification help from RUF Canada/Weissach Group, and technical and parts supply help from RUF Automobile in Pfaffenhausen, RUF UK, Pelican Parts. The labor and painting was done by the maintenance/repair and restoration facility Translog Porsche in York, PA with the following modifications...

RUF 485hp upgrade (turbo upgrade, computer tuning, exhaust, and filter/airflow) and
RUF gauge/dash cluster are scheduled but were delayed due to coronavirus pandemic but are set to be completed as soon as possible.
