Communications Operators with the Queensland Police Service are the first point of contact for members of the public requesting police assistance via emergency Triple Zero (000) calls across Queensland.
They make a difference in the lives of every caller they speak with at a time when they need police the most.
Communications Operators undertake shift work on a 24/7 basis and provide frontline police with accurate, relevant, and timely information and support through a range of information management systems and communications equipment including radio systems.
