Being a neighbouring country, both Malaysians and Singaporeans often visit each other’s country due to the close proximity. Both countries have always enjoyed a close relationship. This is especially true as there are many Malaysians who are currently employed by Singapore in a variety of different sectors. Having some of the top universities in the world, Singapore also welcomes Malaysian students as well. As such, the KTM train from Woodlands to JB is always busy ferrying returning Malaysians or visiting Singaporeans.
