In this short video, first you will learn how to find the notes of an F# Minor One Octave Scale from the major scale by lowering the solfège syllables Mi La and Ti to Me Le and Te.
Scale Notes: Do-F# Re-G# Me-A Fa-B So-C# Le-D Te-E Do-F#
Three black keys in this scale.
Next, hands separately, you will use a technique called clumping to lock in the fingering and crossover/crossunder for each hand.
Finally, you will learn how to put the hands together, using a technique of short and long rhythms to lock in the fingering.
This scale does not use standard fingering..
RH up 34 123 123 down 321 321 43 (compare to A Major fingering)
LH up 4321 321 4 (or 2) down 4 123 1234
