Into the Redwoods: Pacific Coast Bicycle Tour - Part Four

Описание: Part Four of my solo and self-contained bicycle tour on the Pacific coast. In this episode, I ride from the northern California border into the redwoods, through state and national parks along the Avenue of the Giants. It’s an epic route that I’ve ridden once before, in 1989. I’m still riding the same bicycle and using much of the same gear that I bike toured with back then, but I’m now 35 years older and viewing the ride from a much different perspective – that of a retired senior citizen that still makes his way by bike.

I will post one more episode of this bicycle trip. It will cover Mendocino and Sonoma counties, from the redwoods south to the San Francisco Bay area, where I concluded the ride.

Then, in the spring, I will add videos that feature my bike, travel gear and my trip expenses, along with tips on how to get the most enjoyment out of your own long distance bicycle tours.
