And there were shepherds living, living in the fields,
Keeping watch over their flocks by night.
And then an angel of the Lord revealed itself to them,
And the glory of the Lord shone around them,
And they were afraid.

But the angel said to them, Listen! Do not fear.
For I bring you tidings of great joy,
Which will be to all men:

For unto you is born this day
In the City of David, a Savior,
For unto you is born this day

And this will be a sign to you: you will find the Babe
Wrapped in rags, lying in a manger.
And suddenly the angel was with a company of more

The shepherds said, Let's now go to Bethlehem

Hurrying they found Mary, Joseph, and

Mary kept all these things, pondered in her heart.
