🌱 This Week on the Allotment 🌱
This week brought a brilliant surprise to the plot — a free delivery of woodchip on a flatbed truck! 🚛this will allow me to finish off all the paths.
Ive also finished building all of the raised beds, which feels like a huge milestone! In this video I start lining and filling the first beds using the hugelkultur method, layering organic materials to create healthy, moisture-retaining soil ready for growing.
While I was away last week on holiday in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, I still managed to get a little bit of gardening inspiration in — including a cheeky trip to a local garden centre 🌿
Back at the allotment, it’s time to start the season properly because seed sowing has begun! I’ll show you the seeds I’m sowing in the first week of March to get ready for the spring growing season.
