In Part 3 of our Kaffergaon series, we experience one of the most magical moments of the trip — a clear and beautiful view of Mt. Kanchanjungha from the hills of Kalimpong. The early morning golden light on the snowy peaks, cool mountain breeze, and serene silence made this moment truly unforgettable.
On our return journey toward NJP Station, we pass through the iconic Bagrakot Loop Bridge — a stunning engineering marvel surrounded by dense forests, winding roads, and dramatic river views. The drive through this scenic loop adds a thrilling yet picturesque touch to our Himalayan road trip.
Enroute, we stop at Gajaldoba, where we enjoy a relaxed riverside lunch — a perfect pause before completing our journey back to NJP.
