"What do wow and flutter sound like?"

Описание: Analog mediums such as audio tape and vinyl (phonograph) occasionally suffer from a wavering speed distortion called "wow and flutter". I demonstrate artificially induced W&F in this video [at an unusually high level, so it is easy to hear] so people will know what it sounds like. It's usually inaudible on better systems but the ear is more sensitive to it on some material, especially with pure tones and long, sustained piano and flute notes.
