Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action! Return to Derby Station on the Midland Mainline; central reason was to capture the special charter called ‘The Creighton-Ward Explorer’ that involved the duo of Avanti’s 390119 PRIDE Pendolino being hauled by a DRS 57, as part of the event - ‘The Greatest Gathering’ celebrating 200 years of British Rails. Dozens of rail enthusiasts came down to get shots of it, many more than I expected. While that was going on, there was the usual traffic coming and going from the likes EMR and XC but no freight I’m afraid. All this was done in just over an hours’ time. Info displayed on each service was taken from RealTimeTrains for the entertainment. Hope you all enjoy this!
