CUTTING GUIDE:
This guide will make 4 different paper pouches to hold your scraps.
5x7, 4x6, 3x5, 2 inch designed to hold popular card layers.
5x7 Size:
Score 12x12 paper across the top at: 1 ½”, 6 ¾”, 8 ¼,” rotate paper 1 turn to the right and score at 6 ¾” and 8 ¼”. Stopping at your bottom score line. Trim off excess. Burnish score lines. Cut small tabs at an angle. Add adhesive (of your choice) to the tabs. Fold the middle tab to the top side and fold the bottom tab to the top side, creating your pouch.
4x6 Size:
Score 12x12 paper across the top at: 1 ½”, 5 ¾”, 71/4”, rotate paper 1 turn to the right and score at 6 ¾” and 8 ¼”. Stopping at your bottom score line. Trim off excess. Burnish score lines. Cut small tabs at an angle. Add adhesive (of your choice) to the tabs. Fold the middle tab to the top side and fold the bottom tab to the top side, creating your pouch.
3x5 Size:
Score 12x12 paper across the top at: 1 ½”, 4 ¾” 6 ¼”, rotate paper 1 turn to the right and score at 6 ¾” and 8 ¼”. Stopping at your bottom score line. Trim off excess. You will save this and use it for the last 2” pouch. Cut small tabs at an angle. Add adhesive (of your choice) to the tabs. Fold the middle tab to the top side and fold the bottom tab to the top side, creating your pouch.
2x7 Size:
Score the scrap piece of paper from 3x5 size pouch across the top at 1 ½”, 3 ½”, 5”, rotate paper 1 turn to the right and score at 6 ¾” and 8 ¼”. Stopping at your bottom score line. Trim off excess. Burnish score lines. Cut small tabs at an angle. Add adhesive (of your choice) to the tabs. Fold the middle tab to the top side and fold the bottom tab to the top side, creating your pouch.
This should give you a total of 32 pouches. 4 rows of eight. You can divide your scraps according to your desire, of color, pattern, events and seasons.
