Please hote guidance we obtained from the SRA in Jan 2025 for Italain inhouse lawyers. In Italy to work inhouse you have to de-register as an avvocato. On the face of it this would create problems with you meeting the SRA requirements for an SQE2 exemption. However, the SRA have advised us that an Italian lawyer in these circumstances would NOT have to give up their inhouse job & re-register as an avvocato.
