He washed the feet of the one
who would sell Him.

He knew would walk away

That’s the frightening part.

He didn’t invest because they were loyal.

No guilt.
No force.

Just love
that refused to protect itself.

That’s when it hit me:

Jesus doesn’t love us based on
how long we’ll stay.
He loves us knowing exactly
when we’ll leave.

Which means every moment with Him
is a gift—
not a guarantee.

So if you’ve ever wondered
why God loved you
even when He knew you’d drift…

This is why.

Love that calculates risk
isn’t love.
And Jesus never loved safely.

Type “Still chosen”
if you’re humbled knowing
He invested in you anyway.

Because the scariest truth isn’t that people leave—
it’s that Jesus loved them first.
