This took me a few attemps, the secret to this fight is that sound cues are vital, meaning that you can hear the missles shoot out the back of the egg chameleon, use that to your advantage, you can also dash the through it's projectiles, it's much better than trying to avoid them entirely, lastly don't be afraid to grab ring whenever possible, you are on a time limit after all.
With that, that brings this let's play to a close, i planned to do other characters but you'd basically be watching sonic but with an altered moveset.
