Описание: In recent years, the rise of user-friendly development platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Espressif has transformed the landscape for microcontroller developers, making the creation of complex, programmable systems accessible to all. Yet, there remains a need for tools that can further extend and enhance the capabilities of these platforms, particularly for those navigating both digital and analog domains.

The Sandwizz Breadboard looks to change this, an innovative tool designed to seamlessly complement and integrate with these popular platforms and other electronic components. This groundbreaking breadboard bridges the gap between electronic design and physical prototyping, offering a versatile digital and analog circuit development solution.

At embedded world 2024, we spoke with Tommy Nielsen from Microaware (https://microaware.com), a passionate advocate for electronic innovation and a long-time reader of Elektor. Tommy discussed the limitations of traditional breadboards and outlined his vision for the Sandwizz Breadboard. This advanced tool connects directly with ECAD tools like KiCAD for efficient design and testing while enhancing the functionality of existing maker platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Espressif.

The Sandwizz Breadboard streamlines the prototyping process by pre-configuring some of the circuitry and internal connections, allowing users to focus on adding only the necessary components and wires. It supports a power supply range from 2.0 V to 5.0 V and includes expansion options for larger projects.

With integrated support for detailed measurement and troubleshooting and the ability to accommodate, e.g., an Arduino Nano, it is an ideal companion for developers eager to maximize the potential of their existing platforms.

Currently at the functional prototype stage, Microaware is preparing Sandwizz for a Kickstarter launch June 2024 with the aim of revolutionizing the development and demonstration of electronic designs.
