A short video to document the possible options for the crankshaft pulley.
Can confirm that the Impreza/Forester/Legacy alternative will work and there are lightweight versions available too. The bolt itself is longer on the SVX and has to be reused as it's discontinued.
I am going with the standard Impreza EJ257 STI solution as the most sensible compromise.

The advantage is that the design is more recent and used on higher torque/imbalance EJ Turbo engines compared to the EG. Readily available and half the price of the original that is known to split at the rubber section. Disadvantage is the extra weight due to design.
Lightweight considered, but decided against as long term reliability will be compromised.
