Appendix A of the Current Procedural Terminology book has a whole index of modifiers and what they are. I strongly urge all medical coders and future medical coders to get familiar with this section. Also read the sections of the Medicare Learning Network. This will help you to navigate being a coder much more better, apply critical thinking skills as well when apply these modifiers.
