This is an important day marking the start of the Pokémon brand, which was born from these two video games! This day has been celebrated as Pokémon Day by fans as well.
Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version, remakes of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, will release on Nintendo Switch as download-exclusive titles. This software will be available to play after the conclusion of the Pokémon Presents presentation that is scheduled to begin on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. PST.
