After an entire year of submissions, the Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards judging panel has narrowed down the nominations to the top 5 biggest waves of the year. Carlos Burle, Francisco Porcella, Ian Walsh, Andrew Cotton, and Gautier Garanx all made the cut for this year's awards ceremony and their chance to win $10,000.

The Surf Channel will be an original, free, ad supported television network delivered on cable, satellite and IPTV services, web and wireless.
