In this video I'll show you how to wire a Peco solenoid motor. I'll go over connecting it up to a DCC layout using the DCC Concepts ADS-8SX and then how to connect it to a DC layout using a controller with an accessories output.
The ending is the same as seen in the video for the old Peco, Gaugemaster and the Peco solenoid motor. Although I use the Gaugemaster solenoid motor to show how to wire it to a DC layout, the wiring is the same for the Peco and Hornby. I'm not using a CDU, these are optional but I don't require them as yet.

Please be careful when wiring - Components can burn out or short so be sure the power is off and you have read any instructions thoroughly.
