Описание: While investigating the propagation of astrophysical jets through magnetized ambient media, some key parameters, e.g. the level of turbulence and in general the strength and topology of the electromagnetic field are strongly dependent on the amount of numerical diffusion. By performing numerical simulations of relativistic jets with finite conductivity, we are able to link the electromagnetic properties to a more consistent and physically motivated explicit resistivity.
