Описание: This fight was just 10 days before I fought for the Hong Kong championship back in 2004.⁣⁣

At this stage in my career I was still trying to figure out how the game was played in Thailand.....It was very different to what I was used to back in the west. ⁣⁣

The first three rounds I was pretty much in control....but only marginally, round 4 on the other hand was another story 😂⁣⁣

He came out like a man possessed, I’m not sure what his corner told him but he jumped up about 4 gears in that round and he really took control. ⁣⁣

Round 4 in Thailand is like the unofficial money round. If you can win round 4 in a huge fashion, then you’ve pretty much won the bout. ⁣
⁣⁣
His round 4 was a clear land slide compared to my first 3 rounds. He started round 5 pretty much like 4 but then eased off once he’d knew he’d won the fight. ⁣⁣

Funny thing is for this fight I’d traveled from Bangkok to Phuket by minibus. That was a 14yr hour journey and it was horrendous and....my opponent was sat next to me the whole way 🙈😂. I had no idea I was fighting him until I arrived in Phuket. I can only assume he knew he was fighting me as I was the only a foreigner his size on the bus.⁣
