Hello dawgiess!!! and welcome to another incredible growth story! This movie is a collaboration with Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Lapland UAS).
The best part of the Winter Skills and Winter Expedition course is that the students themselves plan the entire Arctic adventure from route design to safety strategies, from sustainability to survival in Arctic conditions. The mission was to create a safe, sustainable, and educational winter hike deep in the Arctic environment within a 600 km radius from our home base in Rovaniemi.
This year, Fourteen explorers set out on an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Kevo and Paistunturi wilderness areas which are one of Finland’s most remote and breathtaking landscapes. Journey was about discovery, connection and growth about learning by doing, respecting nature and pushing our own limits.
