All-District Honor Marching Band:
The LAUSD All-District Honor Marching Band has been in existence since 1972 and has been annually participating in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade since 1973. This parade celebrates the New Year by presenting a moving showcase of mostly flower-adorned floats, celebrated equestrian groups and marching ensembles of every variety. The District’s band is only one of four groups given the prestigious title of honor band by the Tournament of Roses and is thus eligible to participate in the parade every year. This upcoming season, the All-District Honor Band will prepare to march in its 52nd consecutive Rose Parade come January of 2025.
