My birthday is on Tuesday.

बुधबार
Wednesday
म बुधबार आउँछु ।
I’ll come on Wednesday.

बिहिबार
Thursday
ऊ बिहिबार विदेश जान्छ ।
He’ll go abroad on Thursday.

शुक्रबार
Friday
यहाँ हरेक शुक्रबार हाट लाग्छ ।
A fair is held here every Friday.

सधैं
Always
म सधैं प्रार्थना गर्छु ।
I always pray.

शनिबार

Jeth - the 2nd month
जेठमा साह्रै गर्मी हुन्छ ।
It’s very hot in Jeth.

असार
Asar - the 3rd month
असारमा धान रोपिन्छ ।
Paddies are sown on Asar.

साउन
Saun - the 4th month
साउन महिनामा धेरै बाढी आयो ।
There was too much flood during the month of Saun.

भदौ
Bhadau - the 5th month
भदौमा तीज पर्व पर्छ ।
Teej festival falls on Bhadau.

असोज
Asoj - the 6th month
असोजमा दसैं पर्व पर्छ ।
Dashain festival falls on Asoj.

कार्तिक
Kartik - the 7th month
कार्तिकमा तिहार पर्व पर्छ ।
Tihar festival falls on Kartik.

मङ्सिर
Mangsir - the 8th month
मङ्सिर महिनादेखि जाडो सुरु हुन्छ ।
Winter begins from Mangsir.

पौष
Pous - the 9th month
म पौषमा घाम ताप्छु ।
I bask in the sun during Pous.

माघ
Magh - the 10th month
माघको एक गते माघे संक्रान्ति पर्व पर्छ ।
Maghe Sankranti festival falls on 1st Magh.

फागुन
Fagun - the 11th month
फागुनमा होली पर्व पर्छ ।
Holi festival falls on Fagun.

चैत
Chaita - the last month
चैतमा स्कूलको अन्तिम परीक्षा हुन्छ ।
School’s final examinations take place during Chaita.
