British military rules in Afghanistan forbid the buying of local produce, but that has posed a challenge for the Gurkhas. They love nothing better than Nepal goat and chicken curry. The rules mean military chefs have had to cook up a solution to preserve what is an important Gurkha tradition. British Forces News cameras have been to Checkpoint Lamar in the Nahr-e-Saraj district to see how the substitute curry has been going down.
