The third installment after the 1975 "The New, Original Wonder Woman" movie, followed by the 1976 TV pilot "Wonder Woman" comes the first TV Special: "Wonder Woman meets The Baroness Von Gunther" based on early Wonder Woman comics in 1942.
This TV special introduces two characters in live-action form for the first time: Etta Candy and The Baroness Von Gunther. The second TV special was released a week later.
Both TV specials were filmed con currently as they use repeated sequences for each story particularly the Invisible Plane footage from THE NEW ORIGINAL WONDER WOMAN TV movie of 1975 which was launched on TV five months earlier.
