The new alto saxophone model, “Super Custom,” is an enhanced version of the previous “New Vintage” model. It features a redesigned neck, body, and bell, resulting in improved unity across the entire range, faster response, and richer overtones. Notable updates include an overhauled octave key mechanism and a one-piece nickel silver neck joint, contributing to slightly increased resistance compared to the earlier model. The “New Vintage” has been discontinued, and the “Super Custom” and “Super Custom X” models are now available. For players seeking a heavier and more robust sound, the SCX model is an excellent choice.
