Union Home Minister Amit Shah today reiterated that rights of indigenous people of the region will be protected at any cost and passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill will have no impact on them.
Addressing the 4th NEDA convention at the Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati, Shah said all the concerns raised by the chief ministers and lawmakers in Northeast will be addressed before the passage of CAB.
