Sonic The Hedgehog 4 - Major Boss (Boss Phase 2 SEGA 32X Remix)

Описание: Just like I said for the Minor boss, there is also a Major boss at the end of each level. I suffered as usual trying to find a remotely good lead for the song that doesn't sound out of place, again, another solid remix.

Story: Just as the heroes are about to reach the end of the mountains, they run into the notorious Dr. Robotnik, setting up Aquatic Ruin's pillars as a distraction but then unleashes the Egg Serpentleaf, will the battle hold back or will the heroes fight on?

About the Song: The MIDI I found created a custom extension to the song that made it not such a boring loop with how Sonic 4 has like 30 second looped songs, so in the future I may add custom extensions so its not so repetitive, I used the instruments from Death Egg Zone and the bosses from Sonic 3 to give it a more aggressive feel to the song and turned out good for the time being.

About the Image: I used my Sylvania Castle Act 2 BG, and tile set, put in the Sonic and Tails sprite, the hud and then had to figure out what to do for the Serpentleaf sprite. Usually I'd get a 3D model and take a picture then put it into photoshop to do a 16 bit style, but unfortunately no one made any reference/3D models so I had to kitbash using previous Sonic game sprites. The main stalk is from Red Eye, the arms are from good 'ol Techno Towers boss. The cockpit is from Angel Island's boss, the "leafs" are from Mushroom hills boss just heavily modified, and the Eggmobile sprite is from the absolute sprite god Dolphman as per usual.
