Troy Daniell, State Conservationist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Minnesota, joins Katie Bloome, Belwin Executive Director and Justin Sykora, Belwin Operations Director at the Belwin Conservancy to discuss how they manage bison and other wildlife, including American kestrels and Blanding's turtles on the Belwin Conservancy located just southeast of St. Paul Minnesota. They discuss how the bison and prescribed burning are used as prairie restoration tools on the 1,500 acre Belwin Conservancy and how Belwin provides a unique and easily accessible opportunity for the public to come out and view the majestic bison in person. Videography by Dan Balluff and second camera by Molly Voeller.
