Introduced as a major component of the story as well as a proper musical theme in Season 2, the Elder Blood theme is closely related to Ciri, her heritage and the emergence of her powers. Being something that has roots in the past millenia of the world of "The Witcher", its musical theme makes a great work to convey the ancient and eerie characteristics of this power.
The theme consists in a three-note melody executed through orchestra or female chanting, and is often accompanied by distorted synthetic sounds and rhythmic percussions for tense and climactic moments during the series (like the climax of Season during Ciri's possession at Kaer Morhen).
