Pioneer XDJ XZ is a great and much more affordable way to add what truly feels like a full nexus setup to your studio or home setup.

It also allows you to add decks and turntables, and you can record your mix right on the unit.

It features full-size jog wheels and more or less feels like a classic CDJ Nexus 2 and 900 setup.

Size is nice and compact, although portability might be an issue for some as it’s quite heavy to transport as a mobile DJ.

It has somewhat let down by only offering two-channel standalone use with USB, which could be a dealbreaker for some.

Would be very interesting to see if they come up with a software update that would allow us to access all 4 channels stand alone with USB.
