How to share notes in SimpleNote

There are 2 ways to share a note in the Mac desktop version.

Number 1. To share and collaborate in real-time, click on the three dots to access the drop-down menu.

Then, click collaborate. You will be prompted to insert an email in the tag. box. Once you have done this, your teammate will receive an email inviting them to collaborate in realtime.

Number 2: To simply share the note (not in realtime) right-click anywhere on the note, and select share. You will then be provided with a number of sharing options, including email, messaging, Twitter, and more.

Now, to share and collaborate in realtime in the web version, click on the three-dots to access the drop-down menu. Then, select share.

And, just like on the Mac version, you will be prompted to insert an email in the tag. box. Once you have done this, your partner will receive an email inviting them to collaborate.

To share (but not in realtime), you can publish - which provides you with a link to share the document, as well as send by email.
