Several years ago we bought Alo Quicke Skid Steer Quick Attach Pallet Forks from @VahrenbergImplement which work great on our tractor's front end loader (FEL). Here is a link to a similar set of forks https://ironsearch.com/equipment/for-...
But here @hiddenacresfarmsllc we needed to also use them on our 3-point hitch on the rear of the tractor for moving firewood around the farm, so we came up with a couple of brackets that can be bolted on to the frame of the pallet forks in about 5 minutes. You will also need to weld up a 2" x 2" square tube for the top link, but this doesn't interfere with using the pallet forks on your FEL. In case you were wondering, the bolted on brackets also don't interfere with adjusting the forks from side to side.
Supplies you will need are a piece of 2" x 2" square tubing (1/4" thick), 2-1/2" angle iron (3/8" thick), 1/2" x 3" steel plate, a 1" x 5" grade 8 bolt with a nut and washers, four 1/2" x 2" grade 8 bolts 2" long with nuts and washers, and 2 lower lift pins. Tools you will need are a welder, angle grinder with cut-off wheel, and a drill with an 1/8" drill bit (for drilling a pilot hole), a 1/2" drill bit, and a 1" drill bit for the bolt holes. To be quick hitch compatible, you will also need lift arm bushings to make the outside diameter for the lift pins to be 1-7/16", and a top link bushing for the 1" bolt with an inside diameter of 1" and and outside diameter of 1-1/4". All the measurements for the metal used and more details are shown in the video.
We designed this setup so it is Quick Hitch compatible and can be used for both Category 1 and 2 tractors. The way it works is if you bolt the brackets on to the forks with the hitch pins pointed to the inside, it will work for a Category 1 hitch tractor. If you bolt them on with the hitch pins pointed to the outside, it will then work for a Category 2 hitch tractor.
You may have to modify the design for your particular set of pallet forks.

Our goal with these videos is to promote agriculture as well as local family-owned farm businesses. Please support your local hometown Ag Equipment dealer where you live by buying their equipment, lubricants, and parts. You may be able to find parts and equipment cheaper online occasionally, but an online store can't match your local dealer's customer service, knowledge and dependability when you need it the most. So many local, family-owned businesses have gone away due to the corporate take-over of America, and we need to reverse that trend as much as we can. We strongly encourage you to shop and buy local as much as possible!
